If you compare features to features, you’ll find that our Basic and Premium lines of bottles are very price competitive. What kind of Plastics are used in California Springs Bottles?
We use several different kinds of plastics depending on the application and end use.
LDPE - Our Mini Series, Classic Series, SuperTwister and Xtreme Series bottles all use LDPE (Low Density Polyurethane). LDPE has the feel of quality and is soft and easy to squeeze (important for a “Squeeze” bottle!). HDPE - Our AV Series promotional bottles use HDPE (High Density Polyurethane). It uses less material, and the material itself costs less than LDPE resulting in a lighter weight, less expensive ... and hard to squeeze bottle. Our Transport bottle is made of a blend of HDPE and LDPE in order to hold the shape of the hole that holds the stress ball or toy. PVC - Our Crystal Clear Bottles are made of PVC (PolyVinylCloride). It provides the clarity that the polyethylene bottles cannot. It is more durable than the PP and PET materials used by the bottled water and beverage container folks. PC - Polycarbonate bottles are currently quite popular. They claim to be virtually unbreakable and are odorless and do not add to the taste of the beverage contained. Only draw back is the inconvenience of use (Cap must be taken off and replaced before and after every drink is taken). This is a range of bottles made for California Springs in Asia.
