All purchase orders (PO's) must be in writing on customer's official PO form or company letterhead. The PO must include the customer's name, address, phone number, fax number, email address, item number/name, quantity, unit price, item color, imprint color/colors, shipping method, ship to address, shipping date, in-hand date and any other applicable information. If there is not a price on the Purchase Order, standard catalog pricing will be used.
Changes to Orders
Changes to PO must be made in writing and must be approved by the factory prior to the changes becoming effective. Faxing a request without any confirmation by the factory will not be considered a valid change and customer will be billed for the original order. Customer is responsible for any and all incurred costs prior to change approval. If customer does not receive a confirmation of the change it may not have been received or approved.
Order Cancellations
Some orders may not be cancelable – contact factory for cancellation policy. When approved, cancellations must be in writing. The customer is responsible for any incurred costs such as set ups, printing, proofs, artwork, packaging and any other expenses incurred by the factory. For blank goods, there is a re-stocking fee of $40(v)
Rush Orders
Factory charges extra for rush orders, see production schedule on “PRODUCTION TIMES” for additional details. Because the factory may need to switch carriers in order to ship on time, 3 rd party accounts cannot be used for rush shipments. Production time starts after all approvals have been received by factory, including credit, art, paper proofs and preproduction proofs. Due to many different factors, the company is not able to accommodate rush orders on all products. Please contact your California Line representative to ensure we can get you the product you want on a rush basis.
Repeat set up charges are $25(v)/color for all in stock orders. Overseas orders may have higher repeat set up charges – check with factory prior to placing an order. Artwork will be kept on file for 24 months. Orders after 24 months will be treated as a new order
Co-op and catalog programs are always welcome, please contact us for details. All Co-ops must be in writing and approved by the factory.
Terms should be arranged prior to submitting an order. Depending upon the credit worthiness and history, credit terms may or may not be extended. Contact the credit department for details. Most first time orders will require credit card payment in advance.
A request for a return for credit or refund must be in writing, state the specific reason for the return and submit it within 30 calendar days of the invoice. Factory must approve all returns in writing. Refusing, abandoning or sending back a shipment without factory approval does not constitute an approval by factory. When approved, returned products must be in the same condition as when they left the factory and the return will only be for the quantity returned. Contact a customer service representative for a return authorization. There will be a 20% with a $40(v) min restocking charge for blank items plus all freight costs. Samples are not returnable.
Due to currency and raw materials price fluctuations, prices are subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for incorrect pricing, production times and, or descriptions found on 3 rd party databases, websites, flyers or catalogs (ie ESP, Sage, Impact, Distributor Central, Promo Mall etc.). Prices in our latest catalog supersede all previous publications.
Inventory stock is on a first come first serve basis. Prior to submitting a PO , always call to check available inventory. Inventory can not be placed on hold without a written purchase order.
The customer is responsible for all shipping charges FOB factory, zip code 90670. Shipping instructions, shipping method, delivery address and delivery date must be included in the PO . Changes to shipping instructions must be in writing, approved by factory and submitted at least 72 hours prior to ship date as factory may ship early. Factory will not be responsible for delays or additional charges for any unapproved changes. Factory may ship orders out up to 3 days prior to insured unless requested on the PO or in writing. All orders become the customer's property upon factory's delivery to carrier as shipments for FOB factory. Customers should file claims with carrier for any delayed, lost or damaged shipments. The factory will be happy to assist with this process, but the customer must initiate this process within 14 days of shipment. Delays caused by a carrier are not the responsibility of the factory and no refunds, credits or returns will be given to customer due to carrier issues.
Factory has a full service fulfillment facility. Call for quotes on all special packaging and fulfillment services. There will be a $15(v) per pallet charge for palletizing.
The factory reserves the right to ship via the carrier of their choice, at customer's expense, in order to meet the customer's in-hand date. To ship via United States Postal Service, Airborne Express or other carrier will require an additional 2 business days and a fee of $32(v)/per order.
Upon request, factory will attempt to bill shipping to a customer's account. If customer refuses the charges, the carrier will typically bill back the charges to the factory. In this case, factory will invoice customer for the shipping charges plus a $32(v) service charge. If customer's account is invalid, incorrect or factory fails to use customer's account for any reason, factory will ship on factory's account and invoice customer for the shipping charges. Customer will be obligated to pay these shipping charges. Factory does NOT accept 3 rd party billing on rush orders.
For split shipments to more than three locations, a split shipment charge of $8.00(v)/per location will apply for additional locations. Additional charges may apply for some split shipments, please call factory for details.
If a delivery address is not included on the PO, the factory will hold shipment of the order for up to three days before shipping via ground carrier directly to the customer's address on file. The customer is responsible for any additional freight charges caused by address changes, residential service, re-routed packages, returned packages and/or other adjustments made by the carriers. These additional freight charges will be invoiced to the customer in a supplemental invoice 15-60 days after the shipment.
The factory reserves the right to over ship or under ship up to 5% and invoice accordingly. For exact quantity shipments, add an exact quantity fee of $32(v).
The artwork, designs and trademarks imprinted on the products displayed herein are reproduced only as examples of the type and quality of decorated products available. They are not intended to represent that the products are either endorsed by, or produced for the owners of the artwork, design or trademark. Any unauthorized use of images or any material in any of our catalogs without prior written consent is prohibited. Products shown in this catalog may vary slightly from actual products due to inherent limitations in photography, film separations and printing.
Heat transfers and digital printing allow four color process imprints, halftones, gradients and multicolored logos for one low price. PMS colors can be matched at no additional cost; however, artwork requiring PMS colors MUST be in vector format, no exceptions. Unless specified otherwise, the background will be white. On bitmap images a hard color copy must be provided if you require us to match to your intended colors. The shape of a heat transfer should be kept within the confines of a rectangle, circle, oval or square. We may however, accommodate an outline to suit your logo. If in doubt, call one of our factory representatives.
Sample Request Information
We provide up to $10.00 of random imprinted samples for free as long as you pay the freight. Blank samples are always invoiced at the 2,500 piece price and cannot be applied toward the $10.00 of free samples. Shipping is not included in the $10.00, so please provide your Federal Express or UPS account number to cover all shipping cost. Samples sales are final and non returnable or refundable.
